It gives me immense pleasure and a deep sense of pride to welcome you to Devdaha English Boarding Secondary School, a pioneering and well-established educational institution situated in the heart of Devdaha, a land rich in historical, cultural, and spiritual significance associated with the maternal heritage of Lord Buddha.
Our journey began in 2053 B.S. with a simple but powerful dream—to establish an institution where children could receive quality education, develop strong character, discover their potential, and prepare themselves for a meaningful future. What began as a vision has gradually grown into a respected educational institution through the dedication and collective efforts of our teachers, staff, students, parents, alumni, and the entire school community.
I feel particularly privileged to have served this institution as its Founder Principal for 27 years. Those years have been a deeply rewarding journey of learning, challenges, achievements, and countless memorable experiences. I have had the opportunity to witness generations of students enter our school with dreams and leave with knowledge, confidence, values, and aspirations for a better future. Their growth and success remain among the greatest sources of satisfaction in my educational journey.
With the changing needs of the institution and as part of our commitment to institutional continuity, professional leadership, and sustainable growth, I entrusted the responsibility of Principal to a new leadership team from 2082 B.S. This transition is not a departure from the institution; rather, it represents the beginning of a new chapter in our journey.
Today, in my role as Founder Chairman, I remain actively committed to the vision, values, development, and long-term future of the school. My responsibility has evolved from managing the day-to-day academic administration to providing strategic leadership, institutional guidance, educational vision, and a strong foundation for the school’s future growth.
I firmly believe that the true purpose of education is not limited to academic achievement. Education must nurture character, confidence, creativity, critical thinking, discipline, compassion, leadership, and social responsibility. In this rapidly changing world, our children need not only knowledge but also the ability to think independently, adapt to change, use technology wisely, communicate effectively, and contribute positively to society.
Therefore, our vision for Devdaha English Boarding Secondary School is to create an educational environment where tradition and innovation go hand in hand; where technology supports learning; where teachers inspire; where students are encouraged to question and explore; and where every child is valued for their unique potential.
As Founder Chairman, I am committed to supporting the continuous improvement of our academic standards, infrastructure, teaching and learning practices, teacher development, technology integration, co-curricular activities, and overall student development. At the same time, we will continue to preserve the values, discipline, culture, and educational principles upon which this institution was founded.
I sincerely acknowledge the trust and support of our parents and guardians, the dedication of our teachers and staff, the achievements of our students and alumni, and the goodwill of our well-wishers.
